Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. West Bloomfield Easter Spring Fling Flashlight Egg Hunt – For ages 7-12. Bring a flashlight and basket to carry away all your goodies. Come at 7:30 p if you wish to participate in the train ride and the petting zoo. Event will begin when it is totally dark (approximately 8:30p). This event will go rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Winter or rain boots highly recommended. *IF not sold out in advance, on-site registration will be $10 cash only. Hazel Park Healing Hearts Mom to Mom Sale – $3 admission. Sale is 10-2 for the general public and 9-3 for sellers. The cost is $5 from 10-11 and $3 thereafter. If you are looking to buy or sell new or gently used baby and children clothing, maternity clothing, toys, nursery furniture, books, bikes, and anything else that is baby, child, or maternity related, this event is for you. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. West Bloomfield Preschool Open House – from 9a-1p & 4p-6p. Open House for The Sarah & Irving Pitt Early Childhood Center / The J Detroit. The preschool accepts children as young as newborns up to pre-K four-year-olds. In the coming academic year, enrichment program offerings include gym, music, cooking, Hebrew, and Judaic classes. As an added incentive, this year the $100 enrollment fee is being waived for new students to help reduce the overall cost, and new families that sign up by Sept. 1 will get two weeks of free school. Canterbury Village Michigan Dog Fest – Bring your furry friend and head to Canterbury Village for a tail waggin’ good time. Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes.
