Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park –  S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

Stony Creek Art Fair – Come enjoy a beautiful art fair by the lake. This boutique juried art fair will feature artists from across the country, showcasing amazing artwork in every price range. There will be live art demonstrations and hands-on activities. Food trucks will be on-site as well. All ages. FREE event. No pre-registration required.

Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – 90 minute wagon tours. Book either a 10a or 1p ride. Hop on the tractor-drawn wagon and enjoy the beauty of fall along a Nature Trail. Blakes Kids and Canines Trunk or Treat – Bring the kids and dogs for an afternoon of FREE Halloween fun, complete with costume contests for both children and their four-legged friends. In addition to candy, there will also be homemade dog treats.

Stony Creek Metropark Kids Night at the Nature Center – Drop your kids off and enjoy your Friday night, kid-free. Your kids will have a blast as they meet the nature center animals, including our nocturnal opossum. They’ll get a chance to explore outside along a trail, looking for tracks in the moonlight, gazing at the growing moon, and listening for owl calls and coyote howls. Kids will warm up around our campfire and cook s’mores. Snacks will be provided. Ages 7-12. $10 per child. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
