Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. Whitmore Lake Halloween Mystery Movie – at Dusk at Northfield Community Park (next to the Whitmore Lake Post Office). Vote for your favorite family Halloween movie and then come and see which movie was selected. Pizza and snacks for sale. For more info, visit northfieldmi.gov.
Northville Community Center Tiny Pumpkins – from 4p-5p OR 5p-6p (2 Sessions to Choose From). No-scare Halloween fun for kids ages 0-5. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, dancing, coloring, Halloween stations and a costume contest for the Tiny Pumpkins. Parents and Grandparents are welcome at no charge. No candy will be given out at this event. Pre-registration required. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec.

Northville Halloween Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt (2 sessions to choose from) at Thayer’s Corner.
Trick or treating scavenger hunt. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, cider & donuts, pick a pumpkin, story time and other entertainment. Advance ticket sales are sold by specific event time. Please arrive at the event entrance a few minutes before your scheduled time to check in. No on-site registration will be available. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec. Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.
Valentine’s Day at Maybury Farm – Enjoy Valentine-themed activities, the animals, games, and more as the farm celebrates by opening for a special day in the winter. Celebrate with Bucky, Honey and all the animal friends at Maybury Farm. Admission is $7. For more info, visit www.mayburyfarm.org.
