West Bloomfield Easter Spring Fling Flashlight Egg Hunt – For ages 7-12. Bring a flashlight and basket to carry away all your goodies. Come at 7:30 p if you wish to participate in the train ride and the petting zoo. Event will begin when it is totally dark (approximately 8:30p). Troy Historical Society Summer Kick-Off Open House – Enjoy music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, get your Troy Historical Society summer raffle tickets, plus food for purchase and info from a variety of Troy organizations about great summer activities. Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
Pet Event: Mystery Pets – Meet some real live mystery pets and learn which animals might make good pets, and which should be left in the wild. Price: $7 (includes general admission). Discount given to children, seniors, and Troy Historical Society members. No registration required. Details
