Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. WCC Annual Fall Carnival – This year’s theme is “Tent or Treat”. It’s like “Trunk or Treat” with all the fun but minus the worries of the weather, it’s indoors in their on-site gymnasium. Waterford Central Cinema Movie Night – the monthly showing of a family-friendly movie, followed by a brief discussion around the themes of the film. Bring a snack to share and a friend; everyone is welcome. In honor of Veteran’s Day, November’s movie is “Dog,”. This is a FREE event hosted by Central United Methodist Church.

Waterford Earth Day Clean-Up – at Various Waterford Parks. Parks and Rec will supply each park with garbage bags and cleanup equipment. Call 248-674-5441 to sign up for a park. Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. MetroBarks Dog Walking Club at Indian Springs Metropark – Prepare to walk between one to three miles along our paved trail, with stops along the way for your pups to sniff, explore and rest. Dogs are required to remain on a 6-foot leash. Please be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. If your dog is having a bad day or displaying aggressive behaviors, you may be asked to leave the program early. Ages 8+. $3 per child / $5 per adult.
