Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
