Troy Community Center Trivia Night – Gather your team for a Friday night of friendly trivia competition. Registration fee includes dinner (pizza, breadsticks, salad), refreshments, and two games of trivia play. Prizes awarded to winning teams. Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. Food Trucks & FREE Family Fun – The event features a variety of Food Trucks and Free entertainment for the family including stilt walkers, magicians, balloon twisters, and music in the Festival Park. Paint Creek Center for the Arts will be in Festival Park giving out complimentary take-away potted flower plants, to decorate at home, to the first 100 kids in attendance. Additionally, a variety of stores will be featuring specials & sips throughout the day while offering assistance as you look to find that perfect gift for mom. Telly’s Greenhouse will be selling hanging baskets and porch pots onsite. Food trucks include – Don Armando’s Taqueria, Little Donut Factory, General Dogs, D’Vine Cookies. This is a FREE event. MetroBarks Dog Walking Club at Indian Springs Metropark – Prepare to walk between one to three miles along our paved trail, with stops along the way for your pups to sniff, explore and rest. Dogs are required to remain on a 6-foot leash. Please be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. If your dog is having a bad day or displaying aggressive behaviors, you may be asked to leave the program early. Ages 8+. $3 per child / $5 per adult.
