Flint Holiday Walk – Christmas event at the Flint Cultural Center campus off E Kearsley Street. Free activities at the Sloan Museum, Long Planetarium, Flint Institute of Arts, Flint Library and many more. Enjoy food trucks, craft shows, puppet show, refreshments, Cosmic Christmas light show, and more. Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:15p by Mr and Mrs Santa Claus. Hosted by FlintCultural.org.
RARA Milk & Cookies with Santa – Come to this special event and meet Santa! Take a picture with him as well as enjoy delicious milk and cookies. Take home holiday themed coloring pages and a holiday craft. Parents will receive a number at check in so that you can enjoy milk and cookies instead of waiting in line. Families will be emailed an exact time slot to meet Santa at. This is to try to avoid large crowds and long lines. Please remember, time slots are flexible. From 2020 – Fire and Ice Fest provides free family fun in Downtown Rochester. Hosted by the Oakland County Parks and the Rochester DDA. Events include fireworks, TasteFest, tube sledding, snow shoeing and cross country skiing, dog sled rides, ice skating, ice sculptures and more! Fire and Ice Festival schedule of events. Sloan Museum Galentine’s Party – 810-237-3450, sloanlongway.org. Pamper and spoil yourself and your besties with shopping, karaoke and more. All four museum galleries will be open to event attendees until 8p. A cash bar and the Coffee Beanery Cafe will also be open for food and beverage purchases during the event.
