Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. Troy Stage Nature Center Earth Day Celebration – 86 Plastic will give a short program to highlight that less than 5% of what we send to recycling is truly repurposed. She will be presenting ways to replace common household (plastic) items for a more sustainable swap. Learn how to reduce waste, reuse what you have, and even save money. Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity.
