Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
MetroBarks Dog Walking Club at Indian Springs Metropark – Prepare to walk between one to three miles along our paved trail, with stops along the way for your pups to sniff, explore and rest. Dogs are required to remain on a 6-foot leash. Please be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. If your dog is having a bad day or displaying aggressive behaviors, you may be asked to leave the program early. Ages 8+. $3 per child / $5 per adult. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.
Fascination Factory Mom2Mom Sale – Fascination Factory Pre-registration is preferred but not required. Admission* is $5 or $10 for early bird admission (11:30 AM – Noon). Pay online or at the door. All ages welcome. No admission fee required for children (under 18). * All tickets include one voucher for 25% off Fascination Factory drop in play before 8/31/23 and 15% off one retail purchase before 8/31/23. Halloween Candy Buyback – Oakland County and Metro Detroit, Michigan Halloween candy buyback and Halloween candy donation programs – Kids can bring in their excess Halloween candy and trade it in for cash! In turn, the dentists will then donate the candy to a good cause. Cash for candy!

RARA Pumpkin Roll – at Bloomer Park. Roll your old pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns down the big sled hill. Bring a wagon to haul your pumpkins to the sled hill. Targets will be setup at the bottom of the hill. If your pumpkin gets in the target or closest to the target, you will win a prize. Enjoy a bonfire and cider & donuts after the event. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required. Hosted by RARA.

Ladies Night Out Holly – Holly Ladies Night Out event information and date info. The Holly DDA hosts this event twice a year. Once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Ladies enjoy sales, raffles, promotions, and more.
Ladies Night Out will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours are Friday from 5p-9p, Saturday from 10a-5p, and Sunday from 11a-5p. Hosted by www.mainstreetholly.com.
Several businesses and vendors will be participating in both Spring & Fall versions of this event.
RARA Family Bingo Night – at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority. Head to RARA and join in for a fun family bingo event! Children of all ages are invited to attend. They will be playing 1 line bingo and every winner will get to choose a prize. The grand prize will be a RARA gift card to be used for future RARA programs. Cost is $25/family of 2 – 4 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Each additional family member past 4 members is $4 residents/$4.80 non-residents.
