Seymour Lake Park Easter Bunny Bonanza – Join the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Staff in welcoming the Easter Bunny with an Easter Egg Hunt and Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The event will begin with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The bunny chopper will fly over and shower the kids with thousands of white Ping-Pong Balls. Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event.
