Arts, Beats, and Eats returns to Royal Oak MI this Labor Day Weekend for four days of fun. ABE will offer more than 200 performances on nine stages, a highly ranked juried fine art show and dozens of local restaurants and food trucks, as well as new, innovative programming and hands-on activities to enjoy over the four-day holiday weekend.

Open Bounce at Inflatable Playspaces – 248-288-5888, www.inflatableplayspaces.com. Inflatable Playspaces rents inflatables and backyard party games of every kind. They also have a great indoor bounce room & party room. On Fridays they open up their HUGE open bounce room for open jump for the low price of $9 per child (parents of children are FREE).

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims: Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry, a gift for owner, and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. Upland Hills Farm Toddler Tuesdays
Upland Hills Farm Toddler Tuesdays – at Upland Hill Farm 248-628-1611, www.
baby animals and play on the farm property. Watch the farmers feed the animals at 9:30am and a hayride goes out at 11:00am. Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic lunch. Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks
Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks – Interact with vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Detroit Zoo. At Tons of Trucks, you’ll touch and climb trucks, lifts and carts used by Detroit Zoo staff, and see vehicles from local police and fire departments, construction companies and more.
