Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park – Enjoy award-winning films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during the DDP’s free outdoor movie series. Bring your own chair or blanket for a relaxing summer evening set in the heart of the city. Popcorn is available for purchase.

FREE Science Center Traveling Science Kickoff Event
FREE Science Center Traveling Science Kickoff Event at Michigan Science Center. The annual free event
takes place outside of Mi-Sci’s main entrance featuring live science demonstrations and hands-on activities. The first 250 people to arrive will receive free admission inside of Mi-Sci for a special day which includes Traveling Science activities. Registration required. Pre-register here. Orion Twp Puppy Plunge
Orion Twp Puppy Plunge – Orion Twp P&R Puppy Plunge held at Great Lakes Athletic Club. After the outdoor pool closes to humans for the season, Orion Twp P&R and Great Lakes
Athletic Club will be hosting one last “furrah” for puppy friends. It’s the inaugural Puppy Plunge. Admission is $5/dog and each dog may bring up to 2 humans as free guests. To register. Hosted by www.orionparks.com.

Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks
Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks – Interact with vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Detroit Zoo. At Tons of Trucks, you’ll touch and climb trucks, lifts and carts used by Detroit Zoo staff, and see vehicles from local police and fire departments, construction companies and more.
