Food Trucks & FREE Family Fun – The event features a variety of Food Trucks and Free entertainment for the family including stilt walkers, magicians, balloon twisters, and music in the Festival Park. Paint Creek Center for the Arts will be in Festival Park giving out complimentary take-away potted flower plants, to decorate at home, to the first 100 kids in attendance. Additionally, a variety of stores will be featuring specials & sips throughout the day while offering assistance as you look to find that perfect gift for mom. Telly’s Greenhouse will be selling hanging baskets and porch pots onsite. Food trucks include – Don Armando’s Taqueria, Little Donut Factory, General Dogs, D’Vine Cookies. This is a FREE event. Mother’s Day Brunch at the Village of Rochester Hills – Mother’s Day brunch and dinner options at the The Village’s sit-down restaurants. Bravo! Italian Kitchen will be offering a lovely brunch featuring made-to-order scramblers and hand-crafted cocktails and a dinner menu with endless pasta options. Jagged Fork has an unlimited selection of breakfast and brunch options from pancakes to French toast to omelets & skillets for a perfect way to start the day. Maybe dinner is the way to go. Enjoy the Chef’s Feature Steak and Shrimp Americana or any classic menu items at Mitchell’s Fish Market. You can’t go wrong getting Sesame Chicken or the Mongolian Beef for dinner at P.F. Chang’s. Come Out & Play – at Catalpa Oaks County Park . Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out and Play event. During these special days, day camps and members of the public can have fun on the zipline, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower for free. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zipline. A waiver form (click HERE) is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are needed for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. FREE Summer Shindig – Catalpa Oaks County Park Enjoy an evening of fun at Catalpa Oaks County Park. Activities include inflatables, a climbing wall, zip line, face painting, balloon artists and more. In addition, there will be a free concert from 7:30p-9p followed by a showing of the movie “Family Camp” at 9p. Food trucks will have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and more for sale from 6p-9p. Lions Game Viewing at Emagine
Lions Game Viewing at Emagine – Watch the Detroit Lions take on the LA Rams on the big screen at participating Emagine Theatres. Royal Oak, Novi, Canton, Saline, and Rochester Hills Emagine Theatres are giving fans the opportunity to watch the game on the BIG screen for FREE. Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are free but can only be picked up at participating Emagine Theatre box office locations beginning at 5p on January 14. Group tickets are available for up to 8 guests, unless all guests in your party are present at the time of pickup. Each participating theatre location will be hosting giveaways during half-time. All attendees will be eligible to win. Participating Emagine Theaters will be offering game day concession specials.
UPDATE 1/10/24 – Per Emagine Theatre – ” Due to overwhelming high demand, tickets are now available at all participating box office locations for this Sunday’s game. Two new Emagine Theatre locations have also been added to the list of participating theatres showing the game. When available, Emagine plans to open additional auditoriums to accommodate the demand of fans. “
