Ferndale Santa Parade
Ferndale Santa Parade takes place in Downtown Ferndale. Santa is coming to downtown. Check out Santa as he rides through downtown on a Firetruck and stops at Wilson Park at 1p, 1:30p at Geary Park, and 2p at Schiffer Park for 15 minutes at each location followed by crafts, letter writing, cookies, and s’mores from 2p to 4p at Schiffer Park. Hosted by the Downtown Ferndale DDA.

Longacre House HoliDOG Pictures with Santa – Drop in and have a fun holiday experience with your pooch. For $10 – You can take your own photos of your dog with Santa, using a cell phone or your personal camera. For $15, a pro can take a high res shot for you. DOGS ONLY. No cats or other pets. MUST pre-register to book your time slot. Pre-registration required. Hosted by Farmington Hills Special Services Department
Highland Kris Kringle Market
Highland Kris Kringle Market & Tree Lighting will have the Kris Kringle Market from 5p-9p and the tree lighting at 7p. Event will be held at Veteran’s Park (Livingston and John St). Annual tree-lighting ceremony features caroling, light refreshments, crafts, and a visit from Santa Claus. After Santa arrival, activities take place across the street at 205 W Livingston. Ferndale Daddy Daughter Dance – The dance serves as an opportunity for fathers, uncles and other paternal (and maternal) figures to show the little princesses in their lives how special they are. Duck Lake Pines Park Egg Hunt
Duck Lake Pines Park Egg Hunt – a Huron Valley Egg Hunt. Join the Easter Bunny for photos, face painting, goodie bags and more Easter fun. Bring your camera. Egg hunt times are divided into different time increments. Ages 2-10. For more information, call the Chamber office at 248-685-7129. This event is sponsored by Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.
