Indian Springs Homeschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child. Indian Springs Metropark Easter Egg Scramble Along the Trail at Indian Springs Metropark Participants will search for eggs hidden in themed locations along the trail. Keep an eye out for our favorite busy bunny getting ready for Easter. Bring your camera to capture photos along the way. Please bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. All ages event. $6 per person. Waterford Memorial Day Parade
Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.
