Indian Springs Homeschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child. RARA Easter Egg Hunt
RARA Easter Egg Hunt – 9:30a & 11a (kids ages 1-4), 10a & 11:30a (kids ages 5-8) and 10:30a & Noon (kids ages 9-11) at RARA Fieldhouse. The Easter Bunny will be joining RARA for the family gathering and your child can have their picture taken with him. Bring your camera. Parents, grandparents and infants under 12 months are free. Indian Springs Metropark Easter Egg Scramble Along the Trail at Indian Springs Metropark Participants will search for eggs hidden in themed locations along the trail. Keep an eye out for our favorite busy bunny getting ready for Easter. Bring your camera to capture photos along the way. Please bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. All ages event. $6 per person. Meadow Brook Garden Club
Meadow Brook Garden Club – (248-364-6200, meadowbrookhall.org). The Meadow Brook Garden Club also offers special programs that feature a guest speaker. These take place monthly at Meadow Brook Hall. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
