Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series
Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-625-6473) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are
adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Independence Oaks – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats
are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements. Clarkston Memorial Day Event
Clarkston Memorial Day Event at Lakeview Cemetery. Event includes the Color Guard performing a rifle
volley, raising of the flag and the playing of Taps, the Clarkston High School Band and Ladies in Mourning. For more information, call 248-625-9912 after 4p. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
