Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade
Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category. Holly Movies in the Park
Holly Movies in the Park at dusk at Crapo Park. Concessions will be available for purchase. The free summer outdoor movies begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn! Refreshments and concessions will be sold for a small fee.

Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night
Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.

Ortonville Movie in the Park
Ortonville Movie in the Park – Brandon Twp Parks and Rec is hosting the annual Movie Night at the park. Enjoy a free outdoor summer movie in Ortonville in the evening. The fun starts at 7p with a variety of activities. Enjoy walking trails, playground, music, games on the sledding hill, s’mores, bouncehouses & inflatables, a petting zoo, and more. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the day and evening. The movie will start at dusk (at around 9p). Be sure to bring your own chairs and blankets!

Emagine Summer Kids Movies
Emagine Summer Kids Movies – $3 movies for kids AND adults ALL SUMMER LONG. Each week will feature a new kids movie to check for a super low price. The special doesn’t stop at just tickets. Magic Packs are also available starting at $5 and includes popcorn and small drink.
