Holly Memorial Day Ceremony

Holly Memorial Day Ceremony –  A crowd of several thousand veterans, families, friends and the general public are expected to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring deceased veterans interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. There will be patriotic music. The VFW State Honor Guard will present the colors and perform a rifle salute during the ceremony. Taps will also be played. Hazel Park Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade

Hazel Park Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade – Join the City of Hazel park on Memorial Day for a

ceremony starting at 9a Hazel Park Jr High School. Route goes to the Hazel Park Community Center near Green Acres Park. Hosted by the City of Hazel Park.

Holly Memorial Day Parade

Holly Memorial Day Parade – The Annual Holly Memorial Day Parade will begin in Downtown Holly (S Saginaw & E Maple St) and march over to Lakeside Cemetery for Memorial Day Services. Parade line-ups begin at 9:30a, parade starts at 10a. Hosted by American Legion Post 149 & VFW Post 5587.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
