National Mini-Golf Day at Cranbrook on the Green Mini Golf Course – Mother’s Day Event. Every year the
second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge.
