Friendship Factory Halloween Painting Party – Celebrate ARTober in the craft studio and paint a “sparkling” pumpkin/kitty. Kids will receive their own My Painting Party Kit including all the supplies you need. Plus, learn to paint this special piece of art during the in-store class. This class will teach the painting techniques with step-by- step instructions. At the end of the class kids will bring home their masterpiece and the 2 remaining canvases, paints and brushes to continue creating works of art at home! Ages 6+. $30. Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.
Festival of the Hills Fireworks Rochester Hills – NEW DATE, at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills. The Festival of the Hills at Borden Park starts at 6p with family games, music and live entertainment. Fireworks Hotline – 248-841-BOOM. NOTE: Event has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 27 and will have limited activities. The scaled-down event will start at a new time – 8 p.m. – and the only activities will be “The Super Mario Bros Movie” and the live entertainment on stage starting at 8 p.m. There will still be a limited number of food vendors on site.
Acacia Park Cemetery Trunk or Treat – You are invited and encouraged to attend Acacia Park’s annual Trunk or Treat. Come in costume – prizes will be awarded for the best costume for children, adults, and pets. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Acacia Park Cemetery.
