Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. All ages are welcome, but everyone that enters must pay the admission fee. Each family must have an adult present. This is an outdoor event hosted by Southfield Parks & Recreation. More info…

Southfield Celebrates Black History Month – Southfield Pavilion (26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield, MI)
This FREE event (suitable for ages 12 and up) will feature the Black History 101 Mobile Museum, a lecture by its founder Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, a Black-owned Business Marketplace and much more. Parks & Recreation will offer Black History Month Activity Bags containing activity sheets, stickers, themed coloring sheets, crayons, crafts and more for $5 each (while supplies last) by calling P&R at 248-796-4620. Southfield Black History Month Movie Night – Featuring the 2019 documentary The Black Godfather. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase. Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
