Farmington Hills Try Hockey for FREE – “Try Hockey for Free” Clinics are a great way for boys and girls ages 12 and under to try out the sport of hockey without having to make the investment into equipment. There’s no experience necessary – Suburban Ice provide the instructors and the equipment for you to use. Pre-registration required to save your child’s spot here. Kiwanis Community Easter Egg Hunt – All ages from Toddler to 12 years of age are invited to attend. Hunt for eggs – find candies or prizes in every egg. Hosted by the Whitmore Lake Kiwanis Club.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Whitmore Lake Fireworks – Fireworks over Whitmore Lake. Dunk tank, games, food vendors start at 7p in field across from Post
Office on main St. Fireworks @ 9:55p. Parking at Northfield Community Park is FREE but donations are encouraged to fund the fireworks. Rain date is July 4. For more info, visit wl4th.org.

Sylvan Lake Fireworks at Dusk – Displayed over Sylvan Lake. Best viewing spots along the lake closest to Downtown Sylvan Lake.
Oakland County Boat Club Fireworks shot over Sylvan Lake. Fireworks start at dusk. There is no parking on the streets. Paid parking will be available at the Community Center. Buy a parking pass from City Hall starting in June. Hosted by the City of Sylvan Lake and the Oakland County Boat Club.
