Yoga in the Rock Garden – (8:40a registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations. Full Moon Fridays Farmington Hills – Enjoy the evening air as you head into Heritage Park after dark at a Full
Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration required. Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks
Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks – Interact with vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Detroit Zoo. At Tons of Trucks, you’ll touch and climb trucks, lifts and carts used by Detroit Zoo staff, and see vehicles from local police and fire departments, construction companies and more. Zoo admission plus event for adults is $22 / $19 for kids. Does not include parking ($8). Tickets must be purchased in advance. Purchase tickets here
