Macomb Try Hockey for FREE – “Try Hockey for Free” Clinics are a great way for boys and girls ages 12 and under to try out the sport of hockey without having to make the investment into equipment. There’s no experience necessary – Suburban Ice provide the instructors and the equipment for you to use. Berkley Free Summer Concerts – at Oxford Park and the Berkley Community Center. Berkley Parks and Recreation Berkley Beats concert series is held on various Wednesdays throughout the summer as part of Berkley Summer Fest – family-friendly fun events taking place in Berkley each summer.

Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.

Berkley Touch-A-Truck Event
Berkley Touch-A-Truck Event– Berkley Public Works Interactive Touch-A-Truck at Berkley Community Center. Kids and adults can
explore and learn more about the variety of Public Works, fire, and police trucks and equipment used. This hands-on experience will also feature opportunities to paint a plow and name the Public Works trucks for the upcoming year, with coloring pages and yard games onsite to entertain kids of any age. Dog Day at the Oak Park Pool
Dog Day at the Oak Park Pool (248-691-7555) – Each registered dog receives a gift and a 55 minute dog-only swim session. Different 55 minute blocks of time per weight of dog. The owners must provide proof of current vaccinations and a dog license before the dog is allowed entry. All dogs must be at least four months old. Dogs displaying aggressive behavior will be asked to leave without refund. Register your dog and learn about cost info at 248-691-7555 and indicate your dog’s weight (under 30 lbs, 30-69 lbs, or 70 lbs plus). Hosted by Oak Park Recreation.
