Adaptive Nature Hike with Naturalist – This program is designed for people with disabilities. Join us for a light hike in the woods with Ms. Wendy and a Rochester Hills Naturalist. We will be able to enjoy getting exercise, while learning about the nature, plants, and animals that we have in our community! Please bring a mask to wear when within 6 feet of others.

Special Needs Family Fun Day event – Enjoy lunch, win prizes, music and dancing with a DJ, crafts, bounce house fun, sports, face painting and more at this FREE wheelchair-friendly event. Hosted by the Euro-Peds Foundation, Family Fun Day is the perfect opportunity for families with kids who have conditions such as Cerebral palsy, Spina bifida, Down syndrome and other neuromuscular conditions to relax, enjoy together time while meeting a new tribe. Pontiac’s Annual Community Autism Event – This is a FREE event. Donations are accepted. The event will consist of over 15 different activity stations for the children to make, create and play however they’d like. Hockey Mentors for Special Olympians – Hockey Mentors offers an afternoon of free hockey and ice skating for individuals with any type of special needs, whether that is cognitive, physical or emotional, their family and caregivers. The family friendly event, taking place in two of the Troy Sports Center rinks, includes skate rental, hockey equipment, lunch, t-shirt for those skating and a jersey for guests trying out hockey. Stonewall Pumpkin Festival at Van Hoosen Farms – This year’s Stonewall Pumpkin Festival returns to Van Hoosen Farms in Rochester Hills from 10a-4p (Pumpkin Carving and Fall activities) and 7p-9p where people will be allowed to view the lit pumpkins on the wall. Hosted by the City of Rochester Hills.
