Oxford and Lake Orion Restaurant Week combo – Oxford and LO Restaurant weeks features more than 20 of the area’s finest restaurants.
Restaurant Week will take place for both towns. I really appreciate the effort they have put forth to promote their restaurants together. Not only do discounts during restaurant week provide tremendous savings, they give you an opportunity to try new restaurants you may not have ordinarily tried.
Pontiac’s Annual Community Autism Event – This is a FREE event. Donations are accepted. The event will consist of over 15 different activity stations for the children to make, create and play however they’d like. The event will provide food and snacks, gift bags, raffles, bounce houses, face paintings, live performances etc. For more info, email joyallen22@gmail.com.
Hockey Mentors for Special Olympians – Hockey Mentors offers an afternoon of free hockey and ice skating for individuals with any type of special needs, whether that is cognitive, physical or emotional, their family and caregivers. The family friendly event, taking place in two of the Troy Sports Center rinks, includes skate rental, hockey equipment, lunch, t-shirt for those skating and a jersey for guests trying out hockey. Wag-O-Ween – Get your pup dressed up and ready for Halloween at the dog costume contest! Three weight category contests where winners will be chosen in each weight category. Partridge Creek Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration – Enjoy specials, treats, live entertainment, the Tree Lighting, and Santa and Mrs Claus.
