The Village of Rochester Hills Mother’s Day Flowerpot event – Make and decorate a special gift just for mom. A Greenhouse will be providing soil and flowers and The Village will be providing pots and decorations for you to create just the right “I Love You” gift to give to your mom. Children of all ages are invited to participate and create that special and unique gift to celebrate mom and all of the great things she does. No reservations needed, but supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Hosted by TheVofRH.
Troy Civic Center Mother’s Day Dance: Through The Decades – at the Troy Civic Center Shelter. For kids ages 3-12. Bring mom and dress for your favorite decade. Includes keepsake photo & goodie bag. $10 per Troy resident couple / $15 non. Additional children are $3 or $5 non-resident. Pre registration required. Hosted by Troy Recreation.

The Village of Rochester Hills Mother’s Day Musical Performance by 7 Million Jigawatts – Bring your mom, a friend or come on your own and enjoy an afternoon of musical entertainment on Mother’s Day. 7 Million Jigawatts will be at The Village on Sunday, May 9 from 3p-5p playing some of your musical favorites. Longacre House Breakfast for Dinner with Santa – Come join Santa for dinner. It’s Breakfast with Santa with an evening twist. Santa will join you to share stories of the North Pole, play reindeer games and sing songs. Make a wish list or tell Santa your one greatest wish. Bring your cameras to capture every moment. Registration required for both adult and child. Hosted by the City of Farmington Hills Special Services Department.

Rochester Hills Bloomer Park Martin Luther King Jr Snowfort & Campfire – Come dressed for the weather and ready to work and build an igloo-style snow fort. No snow? No problem. Create a fort made from other natural materials instead. Deconstruct the fort at the end and talk a bit about “leaving no trace”. A campfire and hot chocolate will also be provided.
