Waterford Oaks County Park FREE Platform Tennis Open House – Waterford Oaks County Park Near Paradise Peninsula Playscape. This free clinic is a opportunity to test drive the sport of platform tennis. Extra equipment available on site for first time players or those who do not have their own paddles or paddle balls. Instruction from Waterford Paddle Club. Dress for the weather. Tennis shoes required for the courts. No membership required for clinic. No pre-registration or previous experience needed. Indian Springs Metropark Maple Sugaring: Sweet Science – 3 sessions per day – 11a/12p/1p. 248-625-6640, metroparks.com. Travel out to the woods to see the tapping of maple trees, sap collection, and visit the evaporator to learn about the boiling of maple sap. This program is entirely outdoors and runs every hour. You can expect to walk about one-mile on gravel nature trails. Social distancing and face coverings are required. Dress for the weather. $3 per child, $5 per adult, children under two free. All Ages. Pre-registration required 3 days before each program online. A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required for these events. Daily & Annual vehicle permits are on sale NOW.
