Downtown Detroit Ford Fireworks – at Detroit River / Downtown Detroit. Detroit’s skyline will once again dance with lights and music as The Parade Company and Ford bring you the 66th Annual Fireworks along the Detroit River. Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – at Pontiac Oaks. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out & Play
event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. No registration is required. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Village of Rochester Hills Music & Me Tuesdays at Festival Park – This summer, join Ms. Jenna with Mini Musicians~Music
Together at the Village for “Music and Me~On Tuesdays Too!”. Each Tuesday, starting at 10a, enjoy a 45-minute musical activity with your child. There will be singing, dancing, and shaking rhythmic instruments together. This is a FREE event, so bring a blanket and get ready to shake, rattle and roll with your child. This class is geared towards children birth to five years old. The program recognizes early childhood music for infants to kindergartners with adult involvement. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
