Bower Farms Winter Park – Wednesdays, 4p-9p, Thursdays 4p-9p, Fridays 4p-10p, Saturdays noon-10p, Sundays noon-9p
At Bowers School Farm (schoolfarm.org) through February 26.
Skating – Weather permitting and bring your own skates. Admission is $5. Skating is FREE, skate rental is $8. Winter Park has much to offer including tubing and glow tubing (appointments required), ice skating (weather permitting, bring your own skates), hot cocoa, bonfires, food at the Farmers Kitchen and more. Tubing (unfortunately) isn’t FREE (it’s actually quite expensive) and you have to pre-register which takes the starch out of a spur-of-the-moment experience.

Oakland Twp Winter Carnival – at Bear Creek Nature Park. FREE Park & Shuttle At Rochester Christian Church (4435 Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306, 248-652-3353). Activities include – live entertainment, crafts, a magic show, ice sculpture demonstration with photo ops, puppet show, archery target shooting, penguin bowling, snowball toss, snowball fight, ice skating (weather dependent), and more. Warm beverages and pizza will be on hand while supplies last. FREE parking at Shuttle located at Rochester Christian Church (4435 Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306, 248-652-3353). ALL PARKING IS AT THIS LOCATION. This is a FREE event hosted by Oakland Twp Parks and Rec.
