Sterling Hts high school Mom to Mom Sale – at Sterling Hts High School. The National Honor Society of Sterling Heights High
School is hosting a Mom 2 Mom sale to raise funds for Friends of Foster Kids on Saturday. The sale offers 50 tables, both personal & business participate. Children, family, high school, & college-aged items. Big ticket room. Concessions will be available. Strollers are welcome. Early bird admission is $3, General admission 9a is $2, noon is $1. Night of the Dragon – A Metroparks medieval festival! Time Out – A Quiet Space for Adults – On Sunday nights at 7:30, Northminster Presbyterian Church is hosting a time of peaceful silence. This is not a religious service: this is a space for anyone and everyone seeking a little more quiet time in their lives.
Pastor Chris will open the Northminster Sanctuary at 7 p.m. as quiet, meditative music plays.
Quiet activities, such as reading, writing, or coloring, are welcomed and encouraged. Tools for meditative practices will also be available.
We ask that you leave your phone at home or in the car; but a phone/technology check-in will be available at the entrance of the sanctuary.
All are invited, regardless of personal background or religious tradition.
