For ages 9+. fLipOut runs from 7:45-9:30p and includes pizza and Gatorade. Cost is $20. Must pre-register and sign a waiver.
Novi Memorial Day Events
Novi Memorial Day Events – Novi Memorial Day Ceremony. Commemorate the lives of our service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice with a patriotic concert and a flag honor walk. The event will conclude with a wreath laying, playing of Taps, twenty-one-gun salute, and a moment of silence and reflection to remember those who were lost. This event is open to the community. To be part of this great community event that also honors Veterans and those currently serving, call 248-347-0414. Hosted by the City of Novi.

Madison Hts Memorial Day Event
Madison Hts Memorial Day Event – The Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 at Wilkerson Middle School. People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, and sit along the parade route. For additional information call Martha Kehoe at 248-548-7929.

Holly Memorial Day Ceremony
Holly Memorial Day Ceremony – A crowd of several thousand veterans, families, friends and the general public are expected to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring deceased veterans interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. There will be patriotic music. The VFW State Honor Guard will present the colors and perform a rifle salute during the ceremony. Taps will also be played. Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Parade starts at 11a at 510 W Commerce, St. Milford, MI. For more info, visit highlandtwp.net.
Rochester Parade of Heroes
Rochester Parade of Heroes – Schedule: 8a – City of Rochester Ceremony at Mt Avon / 9a – Parade begins at
Mt Avon Cemetery in Rochester / 10:30a – Parade ends at Veteran’s Point, Rochester Hills, with a closing Ceremony by Rochester Hills / 11:30a – Hot dogs at Rochester Fire Station.. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce. in conjunction with the City of Rochester, the City of Rochester Hills, and Oakland Twp.

ceremony starting at 9a Hazel Park Jr High School. Route goes to the Hazel Park Community Center near Green Acres Park. Hosted by the City of Hazel Park.

Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony
Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony – Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362)
Lake Orion will host brief ceremonies at 9a at Eastlawn Cemetery (37 E Flint Road Lake Orion) and at 10a in Downtown Lake Orion at Children’s Park (201 S Broadway St #335, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A parade will be held in Downtown Lake Orion at Flint St & Broadway at 11a. Parade steps off at Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). If you would like to participate in the parade, please contact Tom Allport at 248-202-6198. These events are all hosted by American Legion Post 233 – Charlton-Polan Post.
