Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Birmingham Summer Concerts
Birmingham Summer Concerts – Shain Park in Birmingham, Michigan will once again be hosting free concerts throughout the summer. The Birmingham Summer Concert Series concerts will start at 7p on select Wednesdays through the summer.

Orion Twp Summer Concerts
Orion Twp Summer Concerts – Enjoy free concerts on the hill at Wildwood Amphitheater in Orion Twp this summer on Thursdays. The Wildwood Amphitheater opened just a few summers ago and will be home to the free concerts this summer.

Rochester Free Summer Concerts
Rochester Free Summer Concerts – Municipal Park in Downtown Rochester Michigan will be hosting free concerts on Thursday evenings as part of the Rochester Kiwanas Club of Rochester “Music in the Park” series. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy free summer concerts.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the concerts. Concerts are held on the grounds of Municipal Park at the newly built Bebout Band Shell. For more information on acts, call 248-330-8966.

Waterford Summer Concerts at Hess Hathaway Park – Waterford, Michigan will be hosting free concerts as part of their Concerts in the Park series on Thursdays evenings throughout the summer.

Waterford Movies Under the Moonlight
Waterford Movies Under the Moonlight – Movies Under the Moonlight in Waterford MI will take place at Pierce Middle School.
The gates open at 6:30p and the movie starts at dusk. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! The cost is $5 per person.
Typically, this event hosts plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. The cost includes everything but concession stand snacks and drinks.

For ages 9+. fLipOut runs from 7:45-9:30p and includes pizza and Gatorade. Cost is $20. Must pre-register and sign a waiver.

Pontiac Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival
Pontiac Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival – in Downtown Pontiac (Saginaw Street). The community will convene various activities
with local vendors and residents for an independence day celebration. Freedom Day Festival activities will be held near Saginaw Street and will include music, a kid’s zone, food and beverages.
