Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade
Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Waterford Memorial Day Parade
Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Rochester Hills Fireworks
Rochester Hills Festival of the Hills Fireworks – at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills. The Festival of the Hills at Borden Park starts at 6p with family games, music and live entertainment, and the fireworks kicking off at 10:06pm. Fireworks Hotline – 248-841-BOOM. During the 10-day Oakland County Fair, there will be a midway with carnival rides, fireworks, free concerts, monster trucks, a demolition derby and exhibits. Visitors can stroll through many barns to see horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry, dogs, cats, rabbits and even newborn animals.
