Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category. Lyon Twp Free Summer Concerts
Lyon Twp Free Summer Concerts – Music on the Grand summer concert series at Inspiration Park on Grand River in New Hudson, Michigan. Enjoy FREE family fun entertainment at Inspiration Park on select Wednesday evenings this summer from 6p-8p. In addition to live music, a food truck and kids activities will be on-site. Bring your blanket/chair and plan a relaxing and fun evening with the community. Music acts will reflect a wide variety of genres.

Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night
Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.

Rochester Hills Fireworks
Rochester Hills Festival of the Hills Fireworks – at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills. The Festival of the Hills at Borden Park starts at 6p with family games, music and live entertainment, and the fireworks kicking off at 10:06pm. Fireworks Hotline – 248-841-BOOM. Highland’s Red White & Blues Fireworks Festival – event hours are from 5p-11p/fireworks at dusk at Old Highland Middle School Location (N John St and M-59. Commerce Lake Fireworks
Commerce Lake Fireworks – North Commerce Lake / Commerce Twp MI. Fireworks launched from a barge on the north end of Commerce Lake. The show will go on rain or shine! In the event of severe weather – the rain date will be the following day. Hosted by the North Commerce Fireworks Committee.
