Indian Springs Preschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Auburn Hills Summerfest – The City of Auburn Hills has lined up a host of sights, sounds and flavors of summer for two days of fun at its annual Summerfest celebration.
The “main street” Summerfest event will take place on Saturday from 11a to 10p in the heart of downtown at Auburn and Squirrel roads. Have fun at the Auburn Hills Summer Fest kick-off from 4p-10p on Friday.
