Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park – S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

Campus Martius Park Carriage Rides take place during the holiday season on Fridays & Saturdays from November 18 through December 30. See Downtown Detroit at Christmastime like you never have before – from inside an enchanted horse drawn carriage. Carriage rides take off from the Woodward Esplanade, directly south of Campus Martius Park. Rides are $10 per person and last about 15 to 20 minutes. On site only. Madison Hts Holiday Tree Lighting
Madison Hts Holiday Tree Lighting is Hosted by the City of Madison Hts at Civic Center Plaza at the Gazebo. The Mayor will welcome Santa and present him with an official key to the City. Visitors will enjoy cookies and cocoa while listening to seasonal music. Following the tree lighting program, children may wish to get their photos taken with Santa and Mrs Claus inside the Breckenridge Room of the Library. As this event is privately sponsored, the Mayor asks the community to help keep this tradition going, by making a donation payable to “City of Madison Heights – Christmas Light Fund.”.
