Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Huntington Woods Halloween Pumpkin Carving & Storytime – Bring a pumpkin and carving utensils with you to carve your pumpkin. BubBalloonaChicks Bubble Show Magic – Bubble and balloon artistry. BubBalloonaChicks will transport you into the magical world of mega bubbles, billions of bubbles, amoeba shaped bubbles and other bubble tricks. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes. Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Troy Dogs Only Swim – TFAC Doggie Splash at Troy Family Aquatic Center (248-524-3484). 45 minute dogs only swim. Dogs must be 6 mos old with current dog license. $12 for Troy Dog Park Members, $15 for residents, $18 for non-residents. Tags must be worn the day of event. Aggressive dogs will not be allowed or will be asked to leave w/out refund. Dogs under 30 lbs from 10a-10:45a, 31-61 lbs from 11a-11:45a, 61 lbs plus from noon 12:45p. Must register by September 9.
