Oakland County Parks Free Summer Concerts – Local musicians will be performing at a wide variety of parks throughout Oakland County through the summer and early fall. Grab a blanket and some lawn chairs and enjoy shows at some of the loveliest parks in Oakland County. Many musical styles and genres will be represented.
Open Friday Fowling at The Hawk – (fhgov.com) $5 to play. Cash bar beer and wine are served at The Hawk Bar. To register. You can also book your own lane for a fee.
RARA Trunk or Treat – at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority (RARA). Decorate your vehicle for a family friendly trunk or treat at RARA, rain or shine. Pass out candy (you supply) as trick or treaters travel around. Prizes for vehicles. Trunk or treating will be 7pm to 8pm. Cider and donuts will be provided towards the end for all attendees. Whitmore Lake Halloween Mystery Movie – at Dusk at Northfield Community Park (next to the Whitmore Lake Post Office). Vote for your favorite family Halloween movie and then come and see which movie was selected. Pizza and snacks for sale. For more info, visit northfieldmi.gov.

Farmington Hills Halloween Faith & Blue Trunk or Treat – Enjoy Trunk or Treating, costume contests, crafts, balloon creations, photo booth, and more. Hosted by Faith & Blue and the Farmington Hills Police Department. This is a FREE event. Attendees are asked to donate a non-perishable item C.A.R.E.S of Farmington Hills.

Detroit Halloween Bash – Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will be music, a dog costume parade at 6p, pick up a free trick-or-treat bag for your pet, raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and more. Northville Community Center Tiny Pumpkins – from 4p-5p OR 5p-6p (2 Sessions to Choose From). No-scare Halloween fun for kids ages 0-5. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, dancing, coloring, Halloween stations and a costume contest for the Tiny Pumpkins. Parents and Grandparents are welcome at no charge. No candy will be given out at this event. Pre-registration required. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec.
