Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.
Southfield Touch-a-Truck – Sensory sensitive hour is from 1p-2p (reduced lighting and sound). Big trucks little trucks, emergency vehicles, demonstrations, drones, and more. Hosed by the City of Southfield.
Discovery at Dusk – wbparks.org Hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. You might be lucky enough to spot fireflies. After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register. $7 residents / $9 non-residents. FREE Summer Shindig – Catalpa Oaks County Park Enjoy an evening of fun at Catalpa Oaks County Park. Activities include inflatables, a climbing wall, zip line, face painting, balloon artists and more. In addition, there will be a free concert from 7:30p-9p followed by a showing of the movie “Family Camp” at 9p. Food trucks will have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and more for sale from 6p-9p. No registration is needed, just come out and have fun. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
