Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.

Ferndale Free Movie Nights – Downtown Ferndale MI hosts their Movies in the Parks summer movie series at Schiffer Park this summer with movies at various Ferndale Parks. Bring your lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars in Downtown Ferndale or a local Ferndale Park. Movie nights are held at Schiffer Park, Wilson Park, and Martin Road Park! Outdoor movie nights in Ferndale this summer begin at 5:30p with pre-show family fun entertainment. Movies start at dusk.

Discovery at Dusk – wbparks.org Hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. You might be lucky enough to spot fireflies. After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register. $7 residents / $9 non-residents.
