Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Hart Community Center Santa’s Winter Wonderland – Families will receive one free 5×7 photo w/Santa, treat, take home craft, and a visit to Santa’s mailbox. Slots booked in 5 minute increments to accommodate one family at a time. Please arrive 10 minutes before your registered time.. Pre-registration required. Hosted by Springfield Charter Twp. Detroit New Year’s Eve Kids Countdown – Enjoy live entertainment, NYE activities, food trucks, winter lights displays and a countdown and balloon drop. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Downtown Detroit Partnership.

Canterbury Village Cupcake Crawl – The shops of the village will each feature a different homemade cupcake for you to sample as you stroll the village. Be sure to vote for your favorite at the end. $2 entry at the door (includes all cupcakes). $5 Parking is required at all events in addition to the admission fee unless otherwise noted. Campus Martius Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Skate – What’s more romantic than gliding along the ice hand-in-hand with your sweetheart while enjoying majestic views of the Detroit skyline? The rink will be lit up with the colors of love and feel-good ballads and classic love songs will fill the air. All couples are welcome to join this celebration of love. Tickets and skate rentals may be purchased onsite at the park and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Admission – Adults $12, Under 12 $9.
