Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park – S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.
Color Hunt Nature Scavenger Hunt – The nature scavenger hunt is for the little explorers out there, ages 3-6. Look at the colors of nature and “matching” the color chips to things we see on our outdoor adventure. Enjoy some books and songs about colors together. Cost: $3/person. Soggy Doggy at Deer Lake Beach – Bring your dog to the beach to swim, play, fetch, and socialize. This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is required along with record of rabies & DHLPP vaccinations. Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473.
