From 2020 – Fire and Ice Fest provides free family fun in Downtown Rochester. Hosted by the Oakland County Parks and the Rochester DDA. Events include fireworks, TasteFest, tube sledding, snow shoeing and cross country skiing, dog sled rides, ice skating, ice sculptures and more! Fire and Ice Festival schedule of events. Shoppers, get ready for spring and summer with 60+ tables and a large Big Item area at Rochester Church’s Mom2Mom sale. $3 Early Bird at 8 am, $2 admission 9a-1p. Rochester Regional Chamber Foundation Parade of Heroes – Approximately 20 parade entries including fire trucks, a marching band, and more will line up in the parking lot at Adams High School. Participants will then walk the parade route north on Adams Road, ending at the Veteran’s Tribute of Oakland Township. Upon reaching the site, parade organizers and supporters will host an hour and a half long Memorial Program featuring: an invocation, song, speeches from community leaders and concluding with recognition of local veterans in attendance. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Rochester Free Summer Concerts – Municipal Park in Downtown Rochester Michigan will be hosting free concerts on Thursday evenings as part of the Rochester Kiwanas Club of Rochester “Music in the Park” series. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy free summer concerts.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the concerts. Concerts are held on the grounds of Municipal Park at the newly built Bebout Band Shell. For more information on acts, call 248-330-8966.

Oakland Twp Summer Concerts – Oakland Twp Parks and Rec hosts free summer concerts on select Fridays this summer with the Music in the Meadows concert series.

Wet and Wild Wednesdays Rochester Hills – Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farms hosts these, featuring the giant slip & slide and summer family fun.
The first hour featuring events and activities at the gazebo such as musical entertainment or a magician. The 2nd hour is dedicated to giant slip & slide rides and wading down by Stony Creek.
Tickets are $5 per person. Everyone aged 2+ is required to purchase a ticket for entry.
