Color Hunt Nature Scavenger Hunt – The nature scavenger hunt is for the little explorers out there, ages 3-6. Look at the colors of nature and “matching” the color chips to things we see on our outdoor adventure. Enjoy some books and songs about colors together. Cost: $3/person. Soggy Doggy at Deer Lake Beach – Bring your dog to the beach to swim, play, fetch, and socialize. This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is required along with record of rabies & DHLPP vaccinations. Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity. Canterbury Village Michigan Dog Fest – Bring your furry friend and head to Canterbury Village for a tail waggin’ good time. Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes.
