Oakland County Parks Community Garage Sale
Oakland County Parks Community Garage Sale – Find hidden treasures for sale or sell items you no longer need during the Community Garage Sale. Attendance for buyers is free.
Oakland County residents, community members, direct vendors and Mom2Mom sellers are welcome to register for a booth to sell items. Registration is open now. FREE Summer Shindig – Catalpa Oaks County Park Enjoy an evening of fun at Catalpa Oaks County Park. Activities include inflatables, a climbing wall, zip line, face painting, balloon artists and more. In addition, there will be a free concert from 7:30p-9p followed by a showing of the movie “Family Camp” at 9p. Food trucks will have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and more for sale from 6p-9p. No registration is needed, just come out and have fun. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Oakland County Airport Airshow and Open House – The annual FREE event is located at the Oakland County International Airport in Waterford.
The Airshow starts at 1:30p. The Oakland County Airport Open House runs from 10a-4p.
Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Trail Life Waterford Open House – Trail Life is a Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.
This year’s planned outings include camping, hiking, Indoor rock climbing, a planetarium visit, and more!
Blessing of the Pets – All friendly pets (and their people) are welcome to Central Church’s annual Blessing of the Pets. Join us for an evening of fun, including:
• A special pet blessing
• Make your own dog treat
• Coffee, lemondade and desserts
• Informational presentations on training, fostering, and more
• Meet other pet-loving humans
Waterford Halloween Trick or Treating at The Market – Children can come dressed in their favorite costume and have fun safely trick or treating with the vendors at the Oakland County Market. For more info, call 1-88-OCPARKS. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Blakes Kids and Canines Trunk or Treat – Bring the kids and dogs for an afternoon of FREE Halloween fun, complete with costume contests for both children and their four-legged friends. In addition to candy, there will also be homemade dog treats.

Waterford Halloween Trunk or Treat at Waterford Central United Methodist Church. Bring the family for a fun afternoon of trick-or-treating, food, a haunted sewer, and lots of candy. This FREE event is appropriate for younger children (they can skip the spooky haunted sewer) and older kids alike. Open to the entire community. Hosted by Waterford Central United Methodist Church.
