Community Sailing School Summer Camps 2026 West Bloomfield offers Junior Sailing Camps at the Pontiac Yacht Club and Dodge Park #4 on Cass Lake. Kids ages 6-18 are
taught by US Sailing Association certified instructors. Community Sailing School (CSS) offers the largest weekly sailing day camp program in the area, and has an active competitive race team.
Explore the water, travel with your coaches and sail with friends to a picnic spot. Learn about water safety, laugh with your friends, and join in the BBQ lunches on Fridays.

Community Sailing School Summer Camps 2026
Join the fun of sailing, and learn or work on the skills you can have that can carry on for a lifetime. Prepare for middle and high school sailing teams. Join the CSS camp staff for sailing, water activities, swimming, and STEM exploration. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary.
Community Sailing School Summer Camps Include
CSS Summer Camps Beginning Sailing Camp
Learn to Sail class is designed to learn the parts and the boat and develop confidence to sail on your own.
Intermediate Sailing Camp
Train with advanced sailors and learn race tactics.
Advanced Sailing Camp
Travel to local regatta during the week with club owned boats. Participate in a two-day regatta at PYC and other local Yacht Clubs.
Continuing for 2026… CSS will offer an introductory week for new sailors, several one and two week classes and an opportunity to join our competitive race team, and your children will want to sign up for more time on the water! The race team competes during the week and races are held at several local yacht clubs during the summer.
CSS Community Sailing School Summer Camps 2026 Dates
Summer Weekly Class June 8-August 21, Monday-Friday. More dates MAY become available. Each day begins at 9a and ends at 3:30p. Optional before and after care available for an additional cost. No experience is needed. Visit COMMUNITYSAILINGSCHOOL.ORG for cost and to for sign up.
