Some time ago, I interviewed Mark Edmond, the creator of the Nametrix Baby Name App, to learn the latest baby name trends. Since I love statistics and baby name trends, I caught up with Mark to find out the latest. It turns out he has updated version 2 of the popular Nametrix app chock-full of new data and a spruced-up design.
OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS BUSINESS REVIEWS
For the uninitiated, Nametrix researches thousands of baby name trends and profiles the name for future occupations and other personal traits. The app itself if extremely fun (and a little addictive). Nametrix tells you how popular a name is and ranks which geographical part of the country the most popular baby names hail from. Nametrix even lists the peak year for popularity of particular names. Can Nametrix help you predict the future occupation of your future son or daughter?
Even if you aren’t “expecting” (and I’m not), I had a great time on this app just comparing and contrasting names.
Mark was kind enough to send us some new baby name statistics and some new name statistics.
